The IKEv2 protocol is a modern, reliable and secure option for connecting to a VPN. This is what we use in our program.
Manual configuration of IKEv2 is possible, but it is the most difficult of all available options. In addition to the connection parameters, you will need our root certificate and keys. Contact technical support to receive them.
We recommend that you perform the initial setup using our hidemy.name VPN for iOS program. It will automatically download and install the necessary certificates and keys.
After the first connection, you can remove our program and connect using IKEv2 manually using the system’s tools.
Note: After connecting, check your IP address . It must change. If this does not happen, double-check the correctness of the entered data.
